Hope someone can help.....
I purchased a 2002 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. The brainiac I bought it
from (I got it really cheap) lost all of the keys. I bought from a
Honda dealer a whole new set, it is the ignition, helmet lock, steering
lock, gas cap and two keys.
Two Issues -
1) The existing ingnition seems to be attached to a metal bracket with
a large rubber grommet in between. The pieces seem to be attached with
some sort of rivet. I can not seem to get them apart and need to, to
replace the lock section. Has anyone seen this and know how to get
them apart, and if so how to get them back together?

2) The lock assmebly for the front forks seems to be not worth the
trouble to replace - It looks like the only way to get to the two
screws that attach it is take the entire front end off - Is this
correct?

Thanks for any help....

Any repair manual made for that bike will break it down really well. Buy
one.
