 | The Travelites' annual Chili cookoff was a hit with those in attendance
from the Columbia, SC area as well as the SC upstate, NC, and GA
including the owner of Native Woods Naturist Campground & Park in
Darien, GA. Bennie and his lady Karol are lovely people. We were
treated to photos of the park and found them to appear relaxing,
natural, and beckoning.
There were lots of snacks, side dishes, and desserts to feast on after
sampling the several competing chilis. Travelites' Larry Pfister was
the first place winner. Congratulations, Larry. Allen and Roscoe
were the other winners (in that order). The hot tub was, as usual,
well-visited and appreciated in the winter weather.
The Travelites' next event is Mardi Gras on January 29th. For more
