 | Personaly i think you should get a hamster.. they are more tame,
hamster's CAN be allerigic to certain foods , my advice would have to
be .. try different foods for like a week and see the different
reactions, males are usally more aggresive because they want to be the
"alpha pet".. get the critter cage which costed me around 20.00 you
can add to it and it comes with everything you need you can find them
at most pet marts. For bedding i would say use pine .. it works great
and you have probably heard that its bad but that is just a rumor i
have used pine and aspen they are both really cheep be sure not to use
cedar that can cause respitory problems.. well my hamster doesnt bite
so i dont know what you should do when your hamster bites you but i
would recommend before you buy it hold it.. you dont want to get a
biter if you have kids and if you are going to be playing with it
alot...about the sleeping arrangments. i had that that problem to.. i
played with it during the day and it got tired but if you want just
take the wheel out at night if the sound bothers u while your trying to
sleep, but be careful some hamsters will bite if they are woken up.
the hamsters should be around 12-23 months when you buy them .. make
sure that they do not have wet tail or any other diseases...make sure
they are nutered or sprayed! NO NO NO NO NO!! DO NOT KEEP SYBRIAN
HAMSTERS TOGETHER!!! THEY WILL FIGHT AND THEY WILL EAT EACH OTHER I
HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEND!!
