And who proposes as an alternative to taxation borrowing that will
require the taxpayers to pay the loans plus interest? Reagan claimed that
liberals were the ones bad for this but did worse still (consider the
budget proposals he submitted to Congress, no less in balance than what
Congress enacted), and ever since then Republicans were more favorable to
deficit spending than Democrats?

I really don't see how they can believe so. What with it being spewed
forth that "values won this election" everywhere you turn. Who's damn
values?!? Since when is it a value to be a biggot, to hate your

direct reflection of our percieved desires. They report what, when, and

I find that claim to be mostly baseless. The media will look for the
most sensational story, except for certain cases against certain neocons.

A problem of democracy, unfortunately. The judicial system is supposed
to prevent the majority from removing the rights of the minority, but of
course, the majority does not like this.

Too bad most people hate the judicial system and the fact that they
interpret laws properly in ways that don't allow the majority to remove
the rights of the minority. Although it looks like the government is
going to try to change that, too.
