A Britney Gallivan solved the folding paper in half problem. It is at
the URL www.osb.net/pomona/12times.htm
Finely it has proved with math there is not a limit to the number of
times paper can be folded.

I have managed to fold a piece of thin (copy) paper, A4 size (that's just a
tad bigger than "Letter"), eight times. Nominally that makes A12 size
(about the size of a postage stamp) but since it made a wad about half an
inch thick the actual size was rather ill-defined.

But I did it, so **** whoever said seven is the maximum.

I lent my gold foil to someone who wanted to repeat Rutherford's
experiment, but you can easily buy some yourself:

Recently, I was presented with some chocolates with gold leaf on
the top. The metal gave them a tinny taste.

So it wasn't really gold then? I'd complain about that.
