 | I'm going to Aruba in Feb. Any recommendations on places to dive, any of the wrecks better than the rest?
TIA, Jay

 | This specific shop was recommended by a veteran diver from NY. I think I was just not into wreck diving.

 | I went diving in Aruba in Oct. with Red Sail Sports - in front of the Marriott at Palm Beach. It is mostly wreck diving. By far the most popular and impressive was the Antilla wreck. I was not impressed by the Sonesta and Cesna airplanes (both sunk recently). Harbor Reef is decent but not amazing. We did see a moray eel by the Cesna. You have to enjoy wreck diving to like Aruba.

Or maybe you just need to know who to dive with. Red Sail is the cattleboat franchise in many areas.

 | just got back in October from a cruise, and Aruba was the first dive spot, Antilla wreck was the first dive, it was really big, but they didn't let you breach the hall (not our group but others did swim inside the whole length)
it is big, we did not see a ton of fish, but what we saw was nice, little coral, a few big angle fish, it was pretty fun watching all of those snorkelers up top, trying to get down to you... one got close, I felt bad for him all that work just to turn to swim back up.. should have gave him a hit off of my air tank, to let him hang out down below with us. the next dive in aruba was the Pedernales it had nice coral, not a bad dive from what I remember of that one, not great, but not a bad time. also with Red sails. the place where you loaded the dive boat was beautiful, great beach, palm trees. nice place to hang out if you have a few extra hours.
