 | hi,
in my test i've written "i got an good advise".
that sentence was wrong since i'd had to write "i got _some_ good advise".
so, ehm, why i have to use some here?
and, are there any other words which require "some"?

I doubt that, seeing that 'advise' is a verb. The noun spells
'advice'.

Because 'advice' is an uncountable noun.

Yes. They are called 'uncountables': furniture, food, bread, tea,
water, evidence, information. These nouns are uncountable, must not
take a plural form and must not be used with the indefinite article or
numbers.
You can use phrases like 'a piece of advice', 'a packet of food',
'several items of information' etc. to make them countable.

thx for the explanation...
i've just read i can even use "I got good advice"
for uncountable nouns so without any article ... i'm lazy ;-)
