 | >From what we have seen in recent advances and developments in molecular technology, whether it be nano or bio, what do each of you estimate as the time frame when we will have "simple" mechanosynthetic assemblers able to build macroscopic amounts of nanostructured diamondoid and similiar materials?
I reread the book "NANO!" by Ed Regis, very fascinating stuff. Drexler is right on.
I was reading a book about nanotech to a family relative, in front of people on a semi-crowded train, and I noticed people straining their ears to listen, especially when I mentioned "Bread Box Microwave Sized Assemblers able to build cheap consumer goods for everyone". Interesting huh? =)
