Foresight Institute 2005: Influencing the Future of Nanotechnology
January 20, 2005 at 10 a.m. PST/ 1 p.m. EST

In 2005, Foresight Institute will host several Online Town Hall Meetings
using WebEx. Our first event is Foresight Institute 2005: Influencing
the Future of Nanotechnology.

Scott Mize, President of Foresight Institute, will deliver a 25-minute
presentation to be followed by a 25 minute Q&A. He will discuss the
new initiatives of the organization and what it will be doing in 2005 to
fulfill it's mission to ensure the beneficial implementation of nanotechnology.

Foresight Institute is expanding its leadership role and becoming an
even better forum for collaborative action. Scott will focus on how
Foresight Institute plans to influence the direction of nanotechnology
research and public policy. Hear about the Foresight Nanotech
Challenges, the major challenges facing humanity that can be
addressed by nanotechnology, as well as our Roadmap Initiative,
which will chart how we get from where we are today to the long-term
vision of molecular nanotechnology and molecular machine systems.
