 | I wonder if anyone can help, or maybe refer me to someone who can....
I recently acquired an old Kodak Ektapro 1000 TR high-speed image analysis system with intensified imager (This is the system that uses special cassette tapes, the precursor to the EM1012 system)
However although the system appears to be working and will display a live image, the control keypad is missing, so I can't do anything else with it.
I am therefore desperately looking for a keypad. There is a picture of the keypad here : http://www.electricstuff.co.uk/kodakpad.jpg
I'm an experienced electronics engineer, and am quite prepared and able to write some software and/or build hardware to emulate the pad if I can determine the serial commands it uses, so even a day's loan or access to a keypad, or information on the serial commands it uses to communicate would be most helpful. . A damaged keypad would probably also be fine. (I have so far determined the serial data format (14,400 baud 8O1, inverted polarity) but have been unable to get any sensible results from sending commands from a pc.)
Another potentially useful piece of information would be whether the Ektapro EM controller would work (even partially), as I may be able to get access to one of these.
I'm also looking for any user or technical/service documentation on the TR Processor and intensified imager and controller.
I imagine (hope...?) there may be one of these systems gathering dust somewhere due to unavailability of the cassettes....
I am prepared to pay a reasonable sum for a keypad or access to one, and pay any copying/postage/beer costs for any documentation.

What I ultimately plan to do is design a DRAM based acquisition system to replace the TR processor, but need to get this system running so I can investigate how the imager interface works - as far as I can see so far it outputs 16 parallel analogue channels, but I need to be able to adjust the framerate/size etc. to determine the timing/drive requirements.. Of course if I can find any technical information on the interface to the imager, this would be fantastic...!
