 | Hi folks:
When connecting MM glass fibers, 200/240 mu core/cladding, 0.22 NA, with SMA/905 connectors, I experience losses in the order of 20% to 30%. I use a SMA mating sleeve.
Do I have bad patch cords with to high tolerances? Bad mating sleeves? Bad conncetor end face polish? But what tolerance at 200 mu fibers??
Or this normal?
Regards Rainer
