 | Hey,
I am currently working on a program that simulates a beam propagating. You can allow the beam to interact with lenses and apertures. I am trying to write a front end for this currently command line program, and was wondering if anyone had heard of similar projects?
In the end I hope it to be similar to ABCD for the mac.

 | Hi David,
You should probably have a look at:

 | Science Lab Software has a fairly nice front end for their product. The front end is a graphical description of the optics and the light source. Clicking on an optic will bring up the editing page for that piece. Observation Screens show what the light rays are like at any point desired.
