I like the way you snipped that and tried to lump me in with the pro
hunt nutters, but it didn't work.

I'll reiterate :

I neither hunt, nor support the ban, nor care very much about foxes.
But I also find hunting (for foxes, with packs of hounds) to be a vile
pursuit, pursued by the vile.

Just because I dont like it, doesn't give me the right to prevent others
from doing it by some instrument of state. If you don't like hunting, try
sabotaging, its at least as bloodthirsty, but you get to go home with a
clear conscience.

See, when you write it down like that it's quite hard to lump me in with
"these people"

I'm guessing you're a duck squeezer, since you evidently have problems with
things like facts and truth, and prefer instead to rely on propoganda and
manipulating the emotions of the weak, a bit like the Nazis.

I wasn't intentionally putting you in with any group.
Don't, please, do an Oz on me. I'm just pointing out what democracy
is.

And I find the hunt a magnificent sight, particularly in the winter
landscape, but I've no intention of joining them. My post was about
democracy, not hunting. And indirectly it was about hunters' attitudes
to democracy.

Point taken.

What's a duck squeezer? Is that like a tree hugger?
My view on ducks is that they are quite tasty.

My view on foxes is that they are by no means tasty, though nice to
look at. But I'd have no hesitation in shooting one if it ate my
chickens (if I had any - I don't), and I'd do it quite legally, urban
area or not.
