Gone when it shuts the doors Sunday at 10:00 p.m.

If you like the atmosphere or food, or both, you have
only Saturday and Sunday to visit, dine, reminisce.

If you're talking about downtown, do you have any idea what will fill
that space?

Is the San Marco Spaghetti House going to be gone too?

It was not even mentioned in the story.

The Hard Rock was given a goodly portion of the space and
the Spaghetti Factory stated that there was enough area left
(fewer tables) to remain profitable without increasing prices
beyond a family's wallet.

But, no, there was no mention of what will fill the space not
taken by Hard Rock.

I read something about a Mediterranean-themed cafe. One of the people
they interviewed (a Spaghetti Factory "regular") said "I don't like
Mediterranean food" when told that little fact. Not to be too haughty,
but I seriously doubt they knew what Mediterranean food was. :-)

As I recall the story I saw, the downtown Spaghetti Factory is to be
replaced by some sort of Bistro, owned by the same company. Mixed styles
foods, higher prices. I am not certain, but think the story may have been
in Thursday's paper.

There are about 40 other locations in the chain. http://www.osf.com/

There is (was?) a Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos, however.

My favorite was the Spaghetti with Mizithra Cheese :)

Do you, or anyone else, know if the Earthquake Cafe
is still in the area? (I still have some of their "gas leak"
detectors from 10-12 years ago.)
