 | It's a hole in the wall in Golden Hill (or is it South Park?) on 28th and A street, next door to Gloria's taco stand (or a door down from there).
They make pizza, strombolis, some pasta dishes and they make Philly Cheesesteaks too. Their slices are at least as good as Bronx Pizza's (though not as soggy). Haven't tried their cheesesteak.

Do you remember costs on the stromboli and cheesesteaks? Do they sell pizza by-the-slice, too, or just the standard four sizes (mini, small, medium and OMGhuge)?

Didn't catch a price on Strombolis but sandwiches were ~6.25.

They sell $2 slices of pizza and had 2 sizes for pies- regular and xtra large. Not sure what the difference in size is.

I have actually been keeping this place a secret. This is the only bar-friendly pizza place in Golden Hill. They stay open until at least 11:00pm for delivery every night. Their cheesesteaks are very good and not greasy. They are resonably priced and I like their sauce, it is a little less sweet than Luigi's. I really like this place, they understand neighborhood pizza, and neighborhood pizza culture. I always encourage my customers to order in from Gotham. Just my two cents worth. -- Paul Broadway www.broadwaypub.com San Diego, Ca.
