 | On the N side of Garnet, in the same little place that once housed Falafel King before it moved to India St. It has a dog-friendly deck.
The food is a carnivore's delight - California BBQ with a mild and tasty sauce that didn't overwhelm everything it touched. Meats are served on conventional long buns. The ribs seem to have been steamed and then Q'd, and are really good. My son says the links are super - but they're just bought links, it's the sauce that makes them special and the sauce is the same.
Slaw, beans and seasoned fries are all very good to excellent.
Value is there - it's $6 for a generous sandwich and a side.
Recommendation: unless you're a BBQGURU with roots in NC, try it.
