Utilize computer applications to document
manufacturing process instructions. Develop tooling and related
processes to accommodate manufacturing requirements. Work with
manufacturing engineers to describe and illustrate existing and
new processes which will include best sequence and flow to ensure
highest quality hardware manufactured to engineering
specifications.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
AA degree or equivalent experience in developing tooling
philosophies including detail and assembly tooling. Typical
minimum experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Tool and
Operations Planning is five to eight years. Must be highly
skilled at interpreting engineering drawings and writing detailed
work instructions. Should be familiar with MRP based
applications as well as Windows/PC environment, word processing
and spreadsheet software packages (i.e. Excel, Word, Access).
Should have good written and verbal communication skills as this
job requires extensive interfacing with Production and
Engineering personnel. Must be self-motivated.
Desirable qualifications: Bachelor degree in either Electrical,
Mechanical, Drafting, Computer Science or equivalent work
experience. 5+ years work experience in writing detail and
assembly work instructions is preferred. Knowledge of ai
