Business Development Director/VP
CARLSBAD, CA

Salary: $70,000 - 100,000 / Annually

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Client is seeking a dynamic individual to direct the
identification and pursuit of new business opportunities for the
software organization to increase product sales and market share.
Oversees financial analysis, due diligence and legal review of
potential new business opportunities for the company such as
strategic partnerships, licensing of outside products, talent and
joint ventures.

Establish and develop new revenue-generating opportunities
Directs strategic analysis of market trends, competition and
identification of new growth opportunities.
Ensures that leads presented from within the organization are
investigated and evaluated and, if appropriate, pursued.
Closes deals that generate substantial revenue and/or market
share.
Manages relationships with major strategic partners.
Assesses viability of license costs, through cost models.
Ability to read and interpret P&L with a strong financial
awareness.
Negotiates major inbound licensing deals and contracts in
conjunction with the Licensing Director.

8 or more years experience with five or more in management.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
Exceptional track record of identifying and garnering new
business opportunities.
Proven ability to achieve revenue expectations.
Strong business acumen of the licensing industry and an ability
to understand product life cycle and business model process for
game development.
Gaming enthusiast with minimum 5 years industry experience.
Extensive networking relationships within the gaming and film
industry.
Highly motivated and ambitious.
