Eek! you poor things. Here in the great southeast of the downunder Sunshine State it's ranging from 20-30 but that's in C not F. We're expecting it to climb up into the 30s again soon. So if you can blow a little of that cool our way we'd be happy to receive it.

A bit of cool stuff 800 miles south of Brisvegas would be nice as well.

Well, we've "warmed" up to 7F! Did some cold get down to you?

Eek! that would be somewhat of a shock for this sub-tropical possum. Mind you if I was one of those folks in Russia who like to go swimming in subzero temperatures, I o[culd find it quite... entertaining

Indeed. Last night's low was 50F.

Most likely. This has been a mild winter. Mostly. > >Brrr!

But that's not all. Last night, it got all the way down to 48F (8.9C)!

Brrrr indeed!
We've had the mildest winter I've ever experienced so far. This morning I did however wake up to white stuff covering everything and making it look light and sparkly and clean :) The forecast for tomorrow is rain again, so I'll have to make the most of it today.

We had near record-breaking warmth (about 55 here, about 65 in Rochester) a few days before the bitter cold blew in. I finally got my bulbs planted. This winter has been much more of what I have come to consider normal - cold, thaw, rain, freeze, thaw, snow, thaw, blow, blow, blow. The last two winters - Jason's first here - were extraordinarily solid - snow, wind, snow, wind, snow, snow, snow, *cold*. We didn't even have to plow until January, this year.
