John, Thanks for replying to my request.
Suttons begin with James Samuel Sutton and Anne Jane nee Barnes arriving in
Australia, probably Sydney but not sure,about 1850-51.
Children were James Harry(Henry), John L, Alice, Albert Edward, Joseph
Walter, William, Mary Anne(my Grandmother), George, Kate Lucy Lloyd Barnes,
Charles.
I am trying to find if there are any other Barnes (Anne Janes brothers) came
to Australia.
John Henry Read/Reid married Elizabeth Ann. Bennett in Launceston in 1854.
All their children were born in Victoria;
Their children were Caroline Elizabeth, Charles Henry(my G.Grandfather),
George Herbert, John James, Frederick Thomas, Clara Ellen, Arthur William,
Ada Anne, Clara.
Gill - a mysterious story. Samuel John Parker Gill (may be Gill Parker)
married Mary Bressinan(or any number of different spelling, Mary could not
read or write) on 20 January 1859 at Horsham, Victoria. Children were Samuel
John born 1856, (Oh dear, giggle), and William Henry. Samuel supposedly died
1864 and Mary remarried 1866 to a John Henderson and had Alexander in
1868(my Grandfather), but , all children were known as surname Parker.
Graham.
Robert Graham married Lucy Caroline Annie Poole 8 May 1883 at Cobar.He was
born in Ireland to James Graham and Jane Black. Robert was previously
married to Alice Agnes Aitken.
I guess I have confused you but hopefully you may recognise the names.
