 | Hello Listers,
I hope that SKS can direct me where to look for a ship called John Jay which docked at Port Adelaide in 1863.
It had disembarked from British Columbia & I think it was an american ship & probably a whaling vessel.
My husband's 2xgreat grandfather Charles Victor Blom born Sweden 1840 arrived in Adelaide in 1863 on this ship & I was hoping to be able to find more details on the ship, passengers & crew on this particular voyage.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated :-)
Happy hunting everyone. Betty in Qld
