It didn't pique my curiosity until I was flipping through channels the
other night and saw that Ian Somerhalder (be still my beating...) is
one of the cast members! I'd be happy to watch paint dry provided Young
Mr. Somerhalder were included in the picture.

Worth taking a look or no?
Looking forward to hearing the collective wisdom...

Yes, I'm well-acquainted with Mr. Somerhalder thanks to IMDB.

Ian Sausageholder *is* purdy, ain't he? The camera caresses his face at
every close-up.

Am I supposed to feel really old since I did not recognize any of the
names in the cast? (I guess it helps not watching TV at all.)

I thin k he'll be attractive when he grows up.

Are you kidding? Somerhalder has already had his major back story
episode (after a tease the previous episode that his character might
even be , instead his big secret is that he lusts after his
stepsister.) Still, any series with Matthew Fox AND Ian Somerhalder
was worth a look from the first episode. It has held my interest
all year, even though the improbability of the premise is a point
against it. "Lost" isn't the smartest series ever to come down the
pike; but it certainly gets points for originality and creativity.

Also, remarkably enough, the series is holding its audience
despite the onslaught of "American Idol" in the same time slot. I
think the tv audience is starved for anything other than more police
procedurals or reality shlock. Bravo to ABC for trying something
different.

And, for you hobbit fans, Dominic Monoghan.

Poor Matthew Fox ... I thought he was supposed to be the prime beef in
"Lost." But when he's overlooked in a thread on the "Lost" hotties in
a primarily group -- save for one TOQ who would only fawn over
Matt if David Alan Basche weren't among the crash survivors --

Um, Dennis, I do believe I mentioned Matthew Fox. Maybe there isn't
a character on "Lost" (at least so far), but there's at least
one male hottie for just about any person's specialized tastes
in this cast. And several for me. I keep thinking that I certainly
wouldn't mind being stranded on a desert island with these guys.

Yes you did, which I noticed when I reread your post. How
embarrassing! Just to clarify, *I'm* the TOQ referenced in my post.

Oh well. I have not actually watched the show, his name just caught my
attention.

I watch it, and I confess the idea that he is supposed to be a washed up
rock star just makes me giggle.
