 | My cousins: Western Democracies are not democracies.
I have a warning to my Canadian, Chinese, German, Portugese, Russian etc.etc.etc. cousins, and others, do not be fooled by western societies 'free vote' and so called democracies..THEY ARE NOT !
The problem with western cultures is that we have 'political parties' that gives the power to a party political leader, who in most circumstances can dictate to the people.
Switzerland, has a much truer democracy system than Canada or the USA...where the power rests with the majority of the people, and true justice. The Canadian system, dates back to a feudal monarchial system that gives people a 'free vote' but then under a parliamentary system gives the power to one person.
So be carful, 'free elections' does not mean that your vote will elect a person that will support the view of the majority...keeping in mind that 'true justice' is never democratic, it is based on truths, and The Truth, if one can ever find it and compassion, if one has it.

You are at least partly correct, the U.S. is becoming or almost is a Christian theocracy not a true democracy.

 | I see the USA as a representative democracy. there is no other way to keep the government stable and somewhat efficient. If you feel disenfranchised, vote and talk to your representative. at least then you can see where they stand and if they stand with you.
