"...A big sorrow came to our family. Egor, our little son, is
seriously ill. He was born in September 2003 to all appearance a
healthy baby, but yellow. Doctors assured us that it was normal, only
a jaundice of new-born children. It soon would end. But it never
ended… After long inspections and operation "Kasai" done (in 3,5
months old) doctors diagnosed billiard cirrhosis of a liver.
The operation done and gave only a temporary effect and now a state of
our child is only becoming worse. It means that only a transplantation
of a liver can save Egor's life. Doctors in Belgium are ready to
perform the operation (unfortunately they don't perform such
operations successfully to children with a little weight in Russia).
The cost of operation in Belgium (not taking into account 3-months
living somewhere near) is 85 000 euro. We would not be able to collect
such sum of money even in some years. And if they don't perform the
liver transplant operation (the donor of a bit of liver will be Egor's
farther) then the child is to live only 2 months!
The time is not on our side, we count days and hours. That is why we
ask you for help and believe in your support. I hope you'll hear the
cry of desperate mother's heart. Please, understand our grief and give
help in collecting money for operation. The time goes and every day is
precious. We hope greatly that kind people will answer and help us to
save Egor's life!..."
