Dear Colleague,

In the framework of the International Symposium CompIMAGE'10
"Computational Modeling of Objects Presented in Images: Fundamentals,
Methods, and Applications," May 5-7, 2010, Buffalo-Niagara, NY, USA
(www.fe.up.pt/CompIMAGE), prospective authors are invited to submit
short communications to be published in the Symposium proceedings and
presented at the Symposium.

Deadline for submission:

February 23, 2010. This deadline is firm and will not be extended.

Requirements:

The manuscripts must be prepared according to the LNCS requirements
and submitted electronically in PDF format, together with all source
files and figures. The length should be between 2 and 6 pages. The
papers will be reviewed by the Editors. The authors of accepted papers
will be notified by February 26, 2010.
The accepted papers will be published by Research Publishing Services
(Singapore) in an edited book with an ISBN.
A paper will be included in the proceedings only if at least one of
its author registers by February 28, 2010 and sends a symposium fee
for short communication, which includes access to all symposium
materials, banquet, and tour of Niagara Falls (please, visit the
symposium webpage at: www.fe.up.pt/CompIMAGE). The participants are
supposed to present their work orally or at a poster session.
