Presumably to distract the populace from criticising our government for
poor management in the current weather conditions, we are now being
treated to snippets of news from places where the residents might be
considered worse off than we are.

We are told that iguanas are falling out of the trees in Florida because
they fall asleep in low temperatures. Is this true and how widespread is
the problem? I am now worrying about Mr C being crushed by falling
reptiles...
