It would seem that the apostles didn't have any concept of being
rulers or being resurrected to heaven at this time. Just as the
Pharisees believe in a resurrection and many witnesses were there to
see Jesus perform live resurrections, it shows that until this time
period that before Messiah's arrival and during his arrival, the
concept of resurrection would be to the earth rather than the
designated future resurrection for heaven. Hence, it would show that
there would be two resurrection places, since all those prior to the
apostles would have no sacrifice in Jesus to gain entrance into
heaven, which of course was shown especially in the no ascencion to
heaven reference verses to David.
