When there are elections or initiatives are voted on, then listen to your
inner voice of reason - not to what 'do-gooders' attempt to make you
believe. This is especially true in the foreigner issue. By the way, my
impression is that the SVP/UDC ( http://www.svp.ch/ - http://www.udc.ch/ )
fairly often represents this inner voice of reason.

First, if you act this way you help directly yourselves. But second, you
also help yourselves indirectly: The neighbouring countries will hear about
your election results and will be motivated to act similarly. Moreover, they
will demand more direct-democratical conditions also in their countries. And
the more Switzerland-like countries there are in Europe, the more difficult
it gets for the intransparent, potentially dangerous EUSSR colossus.
