Playing with a strong partner in a pickup partnership you hold als
East (S/NS, IMPs):
x
AKQxxx
xx
KQx

The auction:
2D* pass 2S** 3H
pass 3S? pass 4C
pass 5C! pass 5H
pass 6C! dbl ???

* a six card in either major, less than opening strength
** asks partner to pass if his major is spades, otherwise to bid game
in hearts with a maximum
Partner's 3S is a mystery: cue, real, looking for NT? You decide for
the versatile bid of 4C.
5C is unexpected, you decide te stay on the safe side and bid 5H
But partner inists with bidding 6C. Whatever could he mean?
What call do you make?
To be honest I am interested in your answer because of a TD ruling on
this hand.
